The first time in more than three decades, this American Eagle One-Tenth Ounce Gold Proof Coin features a new reverse design, crafted in the highest degree of detail, with a stunning portrayal of an eagle. After 35 years, this classic and popular coin was updated with an enhanced obverse design and brand new reverse. Thanks to modern design technology, the updated obverse is a closer reflection of Weinman’s original vision and includes the addition of his traditional artist mark. Introduced in 1986, the popular and now-iconic American Eagle Gold Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint American Eagle Gold Bullion Coins.
