She appears an imposing figure thanks in part to the rays of the morning sun that spread out behind her. Also contributing to this effect is the miniature Capitol Dome, which is set off to the side. The image is encircled by fifty stars, four more than the original forty-six, which represent the states. Both “LIBERTY” and the date, “2020, ” are inscribed on this face. On the reverse is a family of eagles. The design, which was created by Miley Busiek, is divided into two parts by a pair of statutory inscriptions, “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and IN GOD WE TRUST. The top portion is a male eagle preparing to land in his nest with an olive branch in his talons. Below, his family awaits his return in the nest.
